This visual adaptation of the story of Elijah the prophet from 1 Kings 18 is rich with vivid and symbolic imagery. The story centers on the confrontation between Elijah and the false prophets of Baal where he challenges them and their god to bring fire down from heaven wherein the god who answers by fire is the one true God. It is a simple story with powerful concepts. Each beautifully illustrated page brings these concepts to life through a unique blend of graphite and color, showcasing this story through provocative, startling, and moody atmospheres all leading towards the final confrontation with the Divine. This entire book is a wonderful work of art, each page meticulously crafted to paint the dramatic landscape of the holy battlefield of gods and men.

Elijah A Graphic Novel edition by Danielle Pajak Arts Photography eBooks Reviews
This is a truly stunning and unique representation of a piece of the Bible. You won't find artwork like this in the average graphic novel! Danielle is truly talented and I very much look forward to her next work Infinity's End! [...]
The artwork in this graphic novel is stunning and the previews online don't do justice to the vividness and intensity of the colors once you see the artwork in person. This novel breaks the conventions of comic book art and creates a visual narrative, accompanied only by scriptures from the Bible, to convey moods and emotion. I also like how she utilizes sparsity and empty space in her artwork, in the tradition of Japanese art. Although this story is from the Bible, I myself am not a Christian but still enjoyed and appreciated this gorgeous work of art. I don't think you need to be of any religious affiliation to do so. Highly recommended for any fan of visual storytelling, graphic novels, or just art in general.
This is a story many people know, but the way it's told here is unique. My favorite part was the ending. I've read it before, but it is some how powerful, inspiring and different without being untrue to its origin. Actually, I guess that would describe the whole book. Some people (this author for sure) are gifted in portraying. Also the art is captivatingly beautiful.
The graphics are awesome!
